We are recruiting at our Broadmeadow location

Innervate Pain Management is the leading private provider of psychology interventions to patients with chronic pain in Australia, and we are an accredited training facility (ANZCA). We are a dynamic, inclusive, caring and high performing team who are committed to evidence-based practice and teamwork. We work through an interdisciplinary model where we collaborate with Occupational Therapists, GPs, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, Psychiatrists and other external stakeholders.

We are seeking a Psychologist or Clinical Psychology  to join our expanding team. The role will include assessment, individual and group therapy sessions. We offer permanent employment and work hours can be negotiated. Noting the practice closes for two weeks over the Christmas and New Year period.

Duties Include

  • Mental health assessments
  • Chronic pain assessments
  • Neuromodulation assessments
  • Psychology assessments for clinical trials
  • Individual therapy
  • Group programs
  • Attending MDT and case conferences
  • Report writing

We Provide

  • Supervision
  • Group supervision with pain-oriented physiotherapists
  • Monthly Continuing Medical Education (CME) presentations
  • Observations of Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists, and Chronic Pain Physician consultations

Essential Criteria

  • AHPRA registered psychologist.
  • Strong ethical practices.
  • Sound clinical skills and delivery of evidence-based best practices.
  • Experience in working with comorbidity.
  • Able to achieve KPIs.
  • Good inter-personal and liaison / networking skills.
  • Good communication and empathy skills.
  • Current NSW driver's license and transport.
  • Have MS Office skills, particularly in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Desirable

  • SIRA NSW approval number, Medicare provider number and work in accordance with Medicare, DVA, workers compensation, motor accident, NDIS, and other third-party requirements.
  • Experience with report writing.
  • You have interest in research and delivering workshops and/or presentations.
