We have a large and consistent number of referrals which cannot be met with the current team, and as such we are looking for a Clinical Psychologist to start as soon as possible.  There is one 2 day per week part time position which is available to cover Mondays and Tuesdays.

 

The successful applicant will be supported to provide high quality Clinical Psychological assessment and intervention as part of the Dr. Paul Pusey and Associates Team.

Therapy and Assessment Resources including access to Psychometric Tests will be provided as part of the conditions of employment.

 

The opportunity to engage in group supervision with the other members of the clinical team will also be provided to the successful applicant. Collaboration and the sharing of clinical knowledge amongst the team is a core value which we aim to promote at this practice.

Position Requirements/Qualifications:

·       Postgraduate Psychology Qualification – Masters/Doctoral Degree in Clinical Psychology

·       Registration or eligibility for General registration with Psychology Board of Australia under AHPRA

·       Eligibility to obtain a Medicare Provider Number

·       Clinical Psychology Endorsement with AHPRA/Psychology Board of Australia 

·       Training and demonstrated competence in at least one of the following treatment modalities: EMDR, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy in addition to demonstrated competence in CBT

 

Salary: We offer a salary plus incentives.
