Are you working in Private Practice and want to grow your business? You don't have to do it alone...

We have current opportunities for Psychologists, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Social Workers and Sex Therapists who would like to grow their private practice.

At The Hart Centre, we are passionate about connecting clients with high quality therapy services, with a strong focus on therapeutic fit. We offer individual and couples counselling sessions, with a wide range of therapeutic approaches and counselling types for clients to choose from.

With a legacy spanning two decades, established by psychologist Julie Hart, we have grown to be a pillar of support for 200+ Therapists across Australia. Integrity, fairness and continuous improvement are at the forefront of our values, and we are proud to have booked over 85,000 appointments for our therapists and continue to experience year-on-year growth.

Our mission is to be the most highly regarded and comprehensive counselling service in Australia, by partnering with mental health professionals to match them with clients whose needs align with their expertise and experience.

How it works:

The Hart Associate Program operates as a sub-contractor model.

We source, book and onboard new clients for therapists in our network, taking away the stress of marketing and booking processes, and providing protection against bad quality clients.

We work with you to determine your unique point of difference, the clients you most like to work with, and the ones you don't, so we can promote you to our new client enquiries.

What We Look For in our Associates:

  • Genuine Care: Passionate about couples or individual work, whether it’s your exclusive focus or in addition to your practice. You are committed to creating a safe and supportive environment for clients to heal.
  • Client-Centred Approach: Aspire to free up your time and energy to help people, rather than being bogged down in marketing and administration.
  • Looking For Growth: Either as part of a group practice, or as an individual in private practice.
  • Experience: 2+ years supporting clients in a variety of therapeutic approaches and counselling types (including couples/realationships)
  • Collaborative Partnership: Desire to expand your client base with us as your main client referrer, with new bookings made directly into your calendar on an ongoing basis.
  • Community Spirit: Interested in being part of an engaging and supportive community of therapists Australia-wide, for meaningful networking and collaboration.
  • Commitment to Excellence: Always seeking opportunities for growth through your interest in attending Hart-provided events and exploring Continued Professional Development while working with us.

What's in it for you?

  • Targeted Clientele: Our dedicated administration team strive to book clients whose needs align with your expertise, ensuring a better match for higher success rates and enhanced therapist satisfaction. This has established a consistent stream of bookings, by improving client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • High Quality Clients: New clients regularly provided and booked directly into your Zanda, Halaxy, or Google calendar, with an average return rate of 6 - 8 sessions.
  • Low Fees: We do not operate on a franchise model, so there are no large upfront fees for new therapists who join our network. Our model is built on a fair and transparent Win/Win/Win formula (client/therapist/Hart), and it works by securing and retaining the initial client fee only, with all follow up fees yours to independently keep.
  • Proven Marketing Expertise Provided for You: We invest heavily in our marketing strategy on an ongoing basis, providing you with the benefits of SEO optimization, targeted ads, Google My Business visibility, Directory listings, and more.
  • Supportive Community: We understand working in private practice can be isolating. We have built an engaging community of mental-health professionals that goes beyond professional networks. We believe in the power of collaboration to share insights, support personal and professional growth, and build lasting connections.
  • Administrative Ease: We handle the initial appointment bookings and client communication, so you have the freedom to spend more time doing what you’re great at – helping people.
  • Practice Flexibility and Choice: Set your own work days and appointment times, with full control over your practice hours and holidays. Choose the various types of counselling and therapeutic approaches you'd like to offer.
  • Continuous Professional Development (CPD): Our memberships include access to our large body of resources, comprising of training opportunities and regularly-held events such as group webinars and supervision. We hold annual conferences on timely topics which are presented by world-class speakers, providing a great opportunity to collaborate with others in the network.
  • No Minimum Terms or Lock-in Contracts: We value a life-work balance. This flexibility ensures that the Hart Associate Program aligns seamlessly with your unique career aspirations and personal commitments.
  • Feedback Loop: We genuinely care about our therapists and our clients. We value continuous improvement by actively seeking feedback from our Associates and clients, which helps improve and streamline our processes, services and members resources.
  • Huge Demand and Growth: We are still expanding in Australia, resulting from a high therapeutic success rate and an effective marketing plan.
