VICROADS BEHAVIOUR CHANGE (BCP) DRINK, DRUG, INTENSIVE PROGRAM FACILITATORS, DELIVERY ACCORDING TO MOTIVATION INTERVIEW (MI) PRINCIPLES / AFTER HOURS / WEEKENDS.

Mandatory Requirements for ALL Applicants:

• Driver licence UNDER 6 demerit points
• NO licence suspensions in last 10 years (History check undertaken by VicRoads)
• Current Working with Children/Police checks
• Consent to Release Driving Records to VicRoads and third party of findings
• CV
• Confidentiality Deed
• Qualifications in MI, or MOTIVATIONAL INTERVIEWING. Applicants who do not have MI qualifications and experience may not be considered given the heavy emphasis by VicRoads for this style of delivery.

Drink-Driver BCP Facilitators:

·         Relevant qualifications in psychology, social work, health; eg. Work with Intoxicated (Course code CHCAOD406E)

·         Co-existing mental health and alcohol and other drugs (AOD) issues (Course code CHCMHS005)

·         Work in AOD context (Course code CHCAOD001), and, or Managing Groups/Work

Drug-Driver BCP Facilitators - SAME AS PER DRINK DRIVER BCP PLUS:

·         Bachelor in psychology, social work, health

·         Minimum of 2 years’ working with mandated clients e.g. Government/Private Provider Quality Certified Australia Council of Healthcare Standards or similar.

Intensive BCP Facilitators - SAME AS PER DRUG DRIVER BCP PLUS:

·         Minimum of 2 years’ experience in therapeutic offender groups

·         Post-graduate qualifications in working with Addiction Offenders (eg, Turning Point Certificate/Diploma/Master Addictive Behaviours / Swinburne Certificate/Diploma Forensic Behavioural Science / Graduate Certificate Specialist Forensic Assessment Risk Management

Contractual Casual Rate of renumeration: $100/hour (ABN required)
