About the Role:
The
Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a passionate and
experienced Senior Psychologist to join our Forensic Community Mental Health
Service team.
In this role, you will conduct assessments and evidence-based
interventions to provide support to individuals, involved in the criminal
justice system, who may be navigating complex mental health challenges.
As a Senior Psychologist, you will work within a multi-disciplinary team
and may inform treatment planning and provide consultancy services to staff.
You may also be delegated to provide orientation, supervision and support to
staff and volunteers.
In addition, you will be in a position to contribute to the development
of service aims and objectives and participate in the development and
maintenance of relationships with key partners in government and non-government
services.
This role may also contribute to research and evaluation of
psychological practice and promote new information and development in the field
of psychology.
Training and supervision in the use of a range of assessments and
therapies is provided on an ongoing basis.
To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate
degree (Master of Clinical or Forensic Psychology) or equivalent qualification
recognised by the PsyBA, hold general registration with the PsyBA, be endorsed
in Clinical or Forensic area of practice, and hold approved supervisor status
with the PsyBA at all levels of supervision (primary and secondary).
