DIG Psychology is expanding and we are seeking a highly motivated Assistant Director Psychologist who will:
· Contribute to DIG Psychology's strategic outcomes as part of the psychology leadership group.
· Conduct complex and specialised psychological assessments and deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions and training across the Group.
· Offer high level psychological consultation to both internal and external stakeholders.
· Deliver and contribute to staff leadership, management and development programs.
About our Team The DIG Psychology team deliver services across the entire Defence Intelligence Group. Successful candidates will have the exciting opportunity to help shape the work of psychology services in the DIG and provide specialist capability and support functions to Defence Intelligence. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a collaborative, flexible team and engage with key stakeholders across the Group and other parts of the Defence Organisation and National Intelligence Community. You will be involved in a range of leadership and clinical activities, such as supervision and training of DIG Psychology psychologists, provide expert advice to DIG management and senior executive, provide psychological support to staff, conduct complex psychological assessments, undertake training and support and drive strategic capability. Our Ideal Candidate Strong consideration will be given to suitably experienced psychologists seeking to move into supervisory or leadership roles, or the next phase of their careers. The ideal candidate will be a scientist-practitioner who has high levels of clinical and/or forensic knowledge, organisational abilities, and strong time management skills. Applicants
