families affected by substance abuse? We are seeking a dedicated clinician to
join our Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs Service (ATODS) team, providing
essential assessments and interventions to support clients in the Townsville
region.
The
opportunity
As a
clinician in ATODS, you will play a vital role in minimising harm associated
with substance use, delivering evidence-based outreach clinical services –
including intake assessment, counselling, and case management – within a
multidisciplinary team.
This
role supports youth and their families, as well as individuals who identify as
Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander or are engaged with Queensland
Corrective Services. Additionally, you will provide care to consumers
participating in the Queensland Opiate Treatment Program, ensuring they receive
quality, patient centred support tailored to their needs.

What’s
on offer?
Permanent Full-time, 76 hours per fortnight.
Remuneration
package of up to $132,567 p.a., comprising base salary range of $79,051 -
$116,189 p.a. (+ applicable allowances/benefits) (HP3), recreational leave
loading (17.5%), and employer contribution to superannuation (12.75%).

Role
requirements
- The
successful applicant must possess a four-year degree in Psychology
(Honours, Graduate Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution and
registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
- This
position requires the incumbent to hold a C class motor vehicle licence.
