Role
An opportunity
has become available for a Psychologist (Head to Health Kids) to join Gold
Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12 000-strong team is on
providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and
northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You
will
- Provide an efficient and responsive mental health
Psychology service within identified models of care and in accordance with
professional, ethical and National Mental Health standards
- Utilise knowledge of Psychology theories and
frameworks in the delivery of clinical psychology services to children
under 12 years, including assessment, diagnosis and treatment
- Apply professional judgement to facilitate
effective clinical practice based on valid and reliable evidence across
multiple clinical areas
- Provide clinical practice and operational
supervision to students and less experienced staff
About
you
To be
successful in this position you will require:
- A tertiary degree in Psychology
- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be
vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps,
Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the
tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be
disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new
employees (GCH will cover cost)

multi-disciplinary, service within the Gold Coast Child and Youth Mental Health
Services that delivers child centred and family focused services driven by a

Coast will provide a seamless service for children under 12 years experiencing
