Workability Assessors is a growing Sydney-based provider of vocational and functional assessments for clients in the workers' compensation, CTP, and personal injury sectors. We work closely with law firms and insurers to deliver high-quality, evidence-based reports for medico-legal use.
As demand grows, we’re seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our team in delivering psychological components of these assessments. You’ll also have the opportunity to build a caseload of private clients and/or receive NDIS referrals.
We are seeking a Registered Psychologist to join our growing team at Workability Assessors, a Sydney-based provider of medico-legal, vocational, and functional assessments for clients involved in workers’ compensation, motor vehicle accidents, and personal injury matters. This is a flexible, contract-based position ideal for a motivated psychologist who is confident in report writing, psychometric interpretation, and injury-related psychological assessment.
The role primarily involves conducting psychological assessments for medico-legal purposes, contributing to multidisciplinary reports alongside allied health professionals (e.g., physiotherapists, occupational therapists). You will assess psychological functioning, vocational readiness, and recovery potential using a variety of clinical interview techniques and validated tools.
In addition to medico-legal assessments, the role offers the opportunity to:

Deliver private psychological therapy sessions (in-person or telehealth)

Accept NDIS referrals if desired, supported by our internal admin and billing systems

Key Responsibilities

Conduct clinical interviews and psychometric testing for medico-legal assessments (e.g., TPD, functional capacity, vocational evaluations)

Prepare clear, structured, and court-ready psychological reports in line with legal and professional standards

Collaborate with other allied health professionals to produce integrated assessment reports

Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal requirements

Optionally manage a private caseload or accept NDIS referrals (telehealth or face-to-face)

About You

AHPRA Registered Psychologist (Clinical or General)

Experience or strong interest in medico-legal reporting

Strong report writing and psychometric interpretation skills

ABN and professional indemnity insurance

Familiarity with NDIS or injury rehab clients (ideal but not essential)
