Are you passionate
about making a real impact in mental health care? The Mental Health Service
Group (MHSG) is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Clinician to join our dynamic
Acute Care Team (ACT) working across both community settings and Townsville University
Hospital Emergency Department.
What you’ll do:
- Provide
triage, assessment, and evidence-based treatment within a
multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate
with emergency department staff to develop clinical pathways for patients
needing psychiatric care
- Deliver
mobile crisis response, consultation liaison, and case management.
- Uphold
the Recovery Model and ensure culturally responsive care for consumers and
carers
- Maintain
clinical supervision for yourself and support others in their professional
development

What’s on offer?
- Permanent
Full-time or Part-time (hours negotiable)
- Pro rata remuneration package
based of full-time of up to $132,567 p.a., comprising:
o
Base
salary range of $79,051 - $116,189 p.a. (full-time) or $39.86 0 $58.59 p.h.
(part-time)
o
Recreational
leave loading (17.5%)
o
Employer
contribution to superannuation (12.75%)

Role requirements
- A four-year degree in Psychology
(Honours or Graduate Diploma) from an accredited tertiary institution
- Registration with the Psychology
Board of Australia (AHPRA)
- A current ‘C’ class motor
vehicle licence
