We are a growing neuro-affirming private practice located in a beautiful space opposite Ringwood Lake. We are currently seeking a Registered Psychologist with substanital experience to conduct psychological assessments as well as client counselling.
This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a passionate multidesciplinary team - including our neuro-affirming Dietitian with a special interest in eating disorders and neurodivergence.
About the Role
Key Responsibilities:
•Use evidence-based techniques/modalities to improve client wellbeing to a diverse client base including children, adolescents and adults according to your personal preference.
•Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments, including cognitive, educational, developmental and diagnostic assessments.
•Prepare high-quality psychological reports and communicate findings to clients, families and relevant professionals.
•Maintain up-to-date ethical and compliant client records.
•Collaborate with a team of allied health professionals and participate in optional peer supervision.
About You
We are looking for a mid-career Psychologist who brings professionalism, warmth and clinical experience.
Essential Criteria:
•Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist.
•Evidence of own professional insurance.
•Eligibility for a Medicare Provider Number.
•Current WWCC if working with children/adolescents.
• Extensive experience conducting a range of psychological assessments.
•Demonstrated experience in providing therapy across different age groups.
Highly-Valued Experience but not essential;
•Prior experience working with clients with eating disorders, particularly ARFID.
•Experience working with neurodivergent clients using a neuro-affirming approach.
•Ability to work with school aged children and/or adolescents.
