Hospital and Health Service is seeking a passionate Psychologist to join the
Burdekin Community Mental Health Service. This is your chance to make a

of a multidisciplinary team delivering expert mental health and alcohol and
drug interventions to individuals and families across the lifespan. This is a

As a Mental
Health Clinician, you will:
- Provide comprehensive intake, assessment, care
planning, intervention, and groupwork services.
- Deliver evidence-based mental health and ATODS
interventions across the lifespan.
- Collaborate with other service providers to ensure
continuity of care.
- Participate in crisis management and intervention
as required.
- Contribute to quality improvement and service
development initiatives.

What You’ll
Need
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology and
registration with AHPRA
- Current Class C driver’s licence
- This is a?Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk
role?– Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and
Tuberculosis
- Pre-employment checks including criminal history
clearance
- Experience in rural or remote mental health
settings is highly regarded
