We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our growing private practice in West Melbourne. Our therapists work with clients of all ages with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma, disordered eating, neurodivergence, relationship/family issues. You will be working in a modern, upscale office space located just outside the CBD and a short walk to public transport and schools.

About the position

In this contract role, you will provide high-quality and evidence-based interventions to clients of all ages in our thriving practice. This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our growing multidisciplinary team. The role is a flexible contract position that allows you to manage your own schedule and provide in-person and telehealth services.

What we're looking for

  • A fully registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Clinical registrars will also be considered.

  • Minimum 2 years' experience working as a Psychologist in a private practice or similar setting.

  • Demonstrated experience providing evidence-based psychological therapies to children, adolescents and adults.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability and desire to work collaboratively with clients, colleagues and other healthcare professionals.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to contribute to the growth and evolution of the practice.

  • Ability to dedicate at least 2 days per week to seeing clients on the premises.

  • We are seeking clinicians who have experience in treating trauma and other complex presentations. Candidates with training in EMDR will be prioritised.
