AHP3 - Senior Psychologist

The Senior Psychologist plays a key role in providing expert knowledge and advice to initiate, develop, implement, and evaluate the Department's Employee Psychology Services. Additionally, the role is responsible for leading and redeveloping existing programs as required.

This position requires a registered psychologist with postgraduate experience in both organisational and clinical fields, particularly in workplace mental health. Experience in delivering Employee Assistance Programs and managing external providers is highly desired.

The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN-EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care) online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.
