Your new role:
In this senior position, you will deliver high-quality paediatric
psychology services across the Logan and Beaudesert Health Service, supporting
children and families with complex needs as part of a collaborative
multidisciplinary team.
You will:
- Provide advanced
psychological assessment, intervention and case management for paediatric
patients
- Lead clinical practice and
contribute to quality improvement, research and service development
- Offer clinical guidance and
act as a key reference point for the psychology team
- Supervise and support HP3
clinicians, students and Allied Health Assistants
About you:
You are a
compassionate and skilled clinician who thrives in a fast-paced paediatric
healthcare setting and is committed to evidence-based, family-centred care.
You will bring:
- Demonstrated experience in
paediatric psychology and managing complex clinical presentations
- Strong communication and
collaboration skills with the ability to build effective relationships with
families and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience supervising and
mentoring less-experienced staff and students
- A commitment to continuous
improvement, research participation and professional development

Logan Hospital is the major
health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including
medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
We offer our staff and
students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a
teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and
participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland’s leading
medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
Our services will continue to
grow as we build bigger and better facilities to support the community. By
2027, we'll have more beds and 5 more birthing suites as part of the Logan Hospital expansion.
