Clinical Psychologist

Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Specialist)

Salary package: $118,632 - $138,799 per annum (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation

Term: Continuing, Part-time

The Position:

The ANU Psychology Clinic is an integral part of the Clinical Psychology programs and is situated in the School of Medicine and Psychology. There is an opportunity for an experienced clinical supervisor to work part-time as part of its small supervisory team providing clinical supervision and training to clinical psychology students on their first placements.

The Person

The team is seeking a clinical supervisor who is dedicated to providing high quality evidence-based practice and is passionate about developing the next generation of clinical psychologists.

The School

The School of Medicine and Psychology is a leading centre of teaching and research in Australia and is committed to excellence in research, teaching, and supervision of research/clinical students across all areas of medicine and psychology. Psychology has notable strengths in clinical, social, cognitive, and developmental psychology, as well as strengths in research methods and human neuroscience. Medicine is committed to extending the boundaries of medical knowledge and improving the health system through research, and to providing students with a research led educational experience.

The College

The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the disciplines of: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environment and Society, Mathematics, Physics, and Science Communication and is also home to a number of cross-disciplinary and specialist Institutes and Centres.  Staff and students within the ANU College of Science and Medicine conduct research and deliver a research-led education program that encompasses the breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and by world-class facilities.
