facility
Our major sites
include University Hospital Geelong in Geelong’s CBD, the McKellar Centre
precinct in North Geelong, Barwon Health North in Norlane, and residential aged
care facilities spanning the region. Comprehensive mental health, community
health and dental services are delivered through various programs across the
Barwon South West Region, including Torquay and Colac.
About the
role
Our senior
clinical psychologists provide clinical leadership in the delivery of evidence
based psychotherapies and specialist psychological assessment and treatment for
complex mental illness. You will support expanded delivery of our therapy
services into the local MH and Well-being service, and input into service
development as a part of the MHTS leadership team. You will work
collaboratively with peer workers, well-being staff, community clinicians,
inpatient staff and psychiatrists to ensure people receive comprehensive care
that helps consumer feel better. As a clinical psychologist you will provide
diagnostic support and supervisory input to staff and students working across a
range of therapeutic modalities including lifestyle programs drawing on nutritional
psychiatry
