Senior Psychologist (Clinical Educator Coordinator)

As the Senior Psychologist (Clinical Educator Coordinator), you will coordinate, deliver and continuously improve psychology clinical education, supervision and training across Logan & Beaudesert Health Service. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, you will work across services, disciplines and education partners to build sustainable supervision capacity and ensure contemporary, evidence-based practice.

You will play a key role in statewide initiatives, quality improvement and research, while supporting psychologists, supervisors, students and new graduates to deliver safe, effective care.

Key focus areas include:

  • Designing, implementing and evaluating psychology education and supervision programs
  • Providing expert advice on professional standards, supervision and training requirements
  • Building supervisor capability and clinical placement capacity across the service
  • Leading quality improvement, innovation and research in clinical education
  • Using data and evaluation to drive continuous improvement in learning outcomes

About you:

You are a senior psychologist with strong credibility in clinical education and supervision. You combine deep clinical knowledge with the ability to influence, coordinate and uplift practice across diverse teams and settings.

You will bring:

  • Advanced experience delivering psychology clinical education and supervision
  • Strong knowledge of professional standards, accreditation and registration pathways
  • Demonstrated ability to lead service improvement and education initiatives
  • Confidence working autonomously and advising senior clinical stakeholders
  • A collaborative, systems-focused approach to workforce development

Logan Hospital:

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.

We offer our staff and students extensive support and training in most medical specialties. As a teaching hospital, we help train future health care professionals and participate in research through strong partnerships with Queensland's leading medical schools, universities, and TAFE Queensland.
