Spencer Health is a national health organisation; our centre's are Multi-disciplinary, focusing on the assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, families and adults. We have a special interest in Neurodivergent presentations supporting children and adults presenting with ADHD and Autism in a neuroaffirming way.
Our team provides services to Hornsby, Gladesville, Mosman and surrounding suburbs of the North Shore, Newport, and Melbourne CBD. Spencer Health's team is made up of clinical psychologists and registrars, registered psychologists, provisional psychologists, paediatricians, speech pathologist, art therapists and an amazing administration team. About the role
Due to ongoing expansion and growth, we have a position available for dynamic and engaging a Registered/Clinical Psychologist with an interest in child/adolescent psychology and group work, at our Gladesville site. We are looking for a team member who is ready to make a move into private practice environment in a permanent part-time, or full time (preferred) role.
Core duties associated with the role will include group facilitation, individual therapy, clinical supervision, psychological assessment and treatment services being delivered to children, teens and their families. There is also opportunity to expand your skills into working with adult clients. Our clients require support with a variety of mental health and neuro-developmental needs. We are a passionate, neuroaffirming organisation delivering best practice assessment and therapy services.
As we are a well known provider of high quality developmental and educational assessments there are also opportunities to utilise and develop these skills under the supervision of our highly experienced supervisory team.

Skills and experience
You will possess:
-
A recognised degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology,

Registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA,
-
Be a Board Accredited Supervisor (or interest in working towards),
-
Experience in the psychological assessment and treatment of children and teens,
-
DBT trained (or interested in training in) and a neuroaffirming practitioner,
-
Ability to work autonomously,
-
Excellent relationship building skills and customer service skills,
-
Good written and verbal communication skills,
-
A compassionate and empathetic approach to assessment and treatment delivery,

Commitment to ongoing professional development.
You MAY possess (non-essential):

AHPRA endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist,

A desire to develop and promote yourself in a specific area of psychology (e.g. trauma, eating disorders etc),
