Clinical or Clinical Health Psychologist Grade 2’

$47.81 - $54.10 + salary packaging & super | Clinical Psychology - multiple positions  

An exciting opportunity exists for motivated Clinical Psychologists and/or Clinical Psychology Registrars to join our experienced Psychology team across various programs within the Allied Health department including the acute and subacute medical wards and our Eating Disorders program. 

 

Inpatient Acute and Subacute Permanent Part-time 0.6 FTE (22.8 hrs/week) 

This role provides psychological assessment and treatment services on our medical, surgical and subacute inpatients wards working with the MDT to support people experiencing challenges with their emotional wellbeing and mental health due to, or impacting upon, their medical condition.  

 

Grampians Health Eating Disorder Service and Inpatient Acute – Grade 2 Fixed term 0.8 FTE (30.4 hrs/week) - 12 months 

Join this unique multidisciplinary team providing wrap around services for people with eating disorders and their families in both medical inpatient and community outpatient settings. This role is focused on the provision of psychological assessment, consultation and treatment of eating disorders and disordered eating as well as on our general medical and surgical inpatient wards. 

 

Clinical Psychology Registrar – Grade 2 Fixed term 1.0FTE (40 hrs/week with ADO)

In this role you will be required to work across programs and will have the opportunity to gain experience and work towards your competencies for endorsement in clinical psychology. You will be well supported by senior clinical psychologists and psychology educators to meet the requirements of the registrar program.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Provision of specialist psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment/intervention and advocacy for Grampians Health clients in the service to which you are allocated  
  • Accurate recording of activities in keeping with Grampians Health clinical documentation and activity recording guidelines  
  • Active participation in discipline and program meetings, clinical case conferences and service planning working groups  
  • Participation in performance review and development program  
  • Participation in clinical supervision and allied health credentialing processes  
  • Participation in quality improvement and/or research activities  

 

Skills & Experience  

  • Essential - Masters Degree in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Health Psychology 
  • A commitment to person-centred care  
  • Excellent knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnosis and intervention  
  • Outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills  
  • A commitment to ongoing learning
