Grade 2 Clinical Psychologist
Casual Roles Available – up to 76 Hours per Fortnight
We are seeking Grade 2 Clinical Psychologists to join our team on a casual basis. This role offers the opportunity to work flexibly within the field of psychosocial oncology in a dynamic supportive clinical environment. The position reports directly to the psychology Manager with clinical oversight /supervision provided by senior clinical psychologists.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
• Conduct triage, assessment, and provide psychological support to cancer patients
• Work with both outpatient and inpatient settings in patient-centred care
• Join a leading cancer hospital with orientation, support, and learning opportunities
• Ideal for motivated applicants who value flexibility and contributing to psycho-oncology care
Successful candidates will possess:
• An APAC approved postgraduate qualification to Masters or Doctorate level in Clinical Psychology
• Full registration with the Psychologists Board of Australia • Endorsement / or working towards endorsement in Clinical Psychology area of practice
• Clinical experience in working in a hospital setting
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
• The role is on a casual basis and work availability will be dependent on service demand.
Remuneration as per Medical Scientists, Pharmacists and Psychologists (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025. Psychologist Grade 2: Year 1 (PK1): $94,478.80 – Grade 2: Year 4 (PK4): $106,906.80 (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for casual hours) dependent on candidate experience. To be discussed with Hiring Manager.
