If you are a psychologist who enjoys working with adults, prefers afternoon and evening practice, and wants to be part of a supportive and well-run environment, this may be a good fit.
My name is Shane. I am a Clinical Psychologist, AHPRA Approved Supervisor, and I run Skyline Psychology on Sydney’s Northern Beaches.
We are currently looking for a psychologist who:
• Primarily works with adults
• Is available in the afternoon and evening (approximately 2pm–6pm, with optional extension to 7pm)
• Is open to seeing WorkCover clients
• Bonus if you also enjoy working with adolescents
The role is currently available for two days per week, with the potential to increase over time based on your preferences and availability.
Afternoon and evening availability is essential, as this is where our current demand and room capacity sit. Sessions delivered after standard hours (for example after 5pm) attract additional out-of-hours financial incentives.
About Skyline Psychology
After more than 15 years working in private practice across a range of settings, I founded Skyline Psychology in 2021 with the goal of bringing together the elements that work best while reducing many of the common frustrations clinicians experience in private practice. We place a strong focus on systems, support, and sustainability so you can devote your energy to clinical work rather than administrative load.
What you can expect
• Strong admin and intake systems that reduce friction and support both clinicians and clients
• Ongoing marketing and referral flow, including GP engagement and community presence
• Individual supervision included, with support available for Clinical Psychology Registrar programs
• A collaborative and supportive team culture. While our current morning and afternoon clinical schedules mean there is less daily overlap, we intentionally create opportunities to stay connected through regular group supervision, individual supervision, shared professional learning, and relaxed social catch ups held every month or two.
• CPD encouragement and a strong professional development culture
• A calm, thoughtfully designed clinical space for both clinicians and clients
Who tends to thrive here
People who see psychology as a vocation, value steady growth, take responsibility for their work, and want to be part of a team rather than work in isolation.
If this sounds like a place you would like to explore, feel free send through your CV and cover letter. You are also very welcome to come in, have a coffee, and see the space before deciding.
