About the Role:

The Clinical Lead is a senior role within the headspace Primary team, combining clinical leadership with a caseload to oversee high-quality, youth-friendly service delivery. The role provides supervision, guides clinical practice, manages service demand and builds strong multidisciplinary partnerships to support integrated care for young people.

 

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in health, mental health, or community services.
  • Experience implementing evidence-based, trauma-informed practices for children and families.
  • Experience engaging stakeholders and building partnerships with diverse communities and organisations.
  • Experience in service evaluation and driving continuous improvement using data and feedback.
  • Experience supporting workforce wellbeing and professional development in inclusive, high-performing teams.

 

Qualification and Other Requirements:

  • Current or willing to obtain a Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Current or willing to obtain a National Police Check (NPC)

Qualified in one of the following:

  • Psychologists
    • General Registration with AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia 
    • Registered without limitation as a person who may provide that kind of service under the applicable law in force in that State or Territory in which the service is provided.
  • Mental Health Nurses
    • Registered as a Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia and holds a current practising certificate.
    • Accredited with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses???????
  • Mental Health Competent Occupational Therapists
    • Registration with AHPRA Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
    • Is accredited by Occupational Therapy Australia as meeting the criteria for mental health endorsement as set out in the document published by Occupational Therapy Australia titled ‘Occupational Therapy Australia Mental Health Endorsement Criteria’ as in force on 1 March 2023.???????
  • Mental Health Competent Social Worker or Member of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW)
    • Accredited by AASW as meeting the accreditation criteria for mental health set out in the document published by AASW titled ‘AASW Accredited Mental Health Social Worker Application Criteria’ as in force on July 2022
