Make a meaningful impact on the
future of mental health care in North Queensland. This is an opportunity for a
suitably qualified Senior Psychologist to lead clinical education and
capability development across our Mental Health Service Group.
About the Role
The Clinical Educator – Allied Health
plays a key role in strengthening the capability, confidence and career
pathways of the allied health workforce. You will contribute to high-quality
mental health care by:
- Delivering evidence-based clinical education
for allied health clinicians working in mental health.
- Providing discipline-specific training and
supporting the development of core and advanced competencies.
- Mentoring and supervising early-career
clinicians, including new graduates and pre-entry students.
- Leading strategies that expand clinical
placement capacity and support workforce growth.
- Designing, implementing and evaluating mental
health education programs aligned with state and national priorities.
- Supporting a culture of safety, quality and
continuous improvement across the service.
About You
You bring strong clinical expertise
in mental health, a passion for developing others, and the ability to translate
evidence into practice. Experience in supervision, education, or workforce
development will be highly regarded.

salary $128,169 - $137,918 p.a.

What You’ll Need
- A
four-year degree in Psychology (Honours, Graduate Diploma).
- Registration with the Psychology
Board of Australia.
- A Masters or Doctoral degree in
Clinical Psychology or significant progress towards this would be highly
regarded.
