We’re seeking a Practice Leader who will set the standard for excellence and provide clinical leadership across our therapeutic programs and mental health services across NSW. Reporting to the Head of Practice, Quality & Innovation, you’ll be the driving force behind our counselling and mental health programs – including child, couple and family counselling services in a variety of settings. Your leadership will ensure our services are innovative, compliant, and benchmarked against best practice, while fostering a confident and capable workforce.
What You’ll Lead
- Clinical Excellence: Set benchmarks, ensure compliance, and champion evidence-based practice
- Workforce Capability: Design professional development, mentor leaders, and provide expert supervision and support for complex cases
- Collaboration: Work closely with operational leaders to achieve strategic goals and deliver exceptional client outcomes
- Thought Leadership: Drive continuous improvement and influence practice across therapeutic and mental health services
- Innovation & Impact: Translate research into practice, influence policy and service design, and showcase RANSW through conferences and publications
The details:
- Full time permanent role
- Based at Macquarie Park with hybrid working options
- Approximately $115,000 - $124,000 base salary (depending on skills and experience) plus 12% superannuation, 17.5% leave loading and tax-free salary packaging up to $15,900. (Increase your take home pay! Calculate Your Savings at https://www.salary.com.au/calculate-your-savings)

What You’ll Bring
- Degree in Clinical Psychology, Psychology Social Work (Mental Health accredited), or a health discipline with postgraduate training in individual, couple, and family therapy
- Minimum 5 years’ experience providing individual, couple, and family counselling across diverse settings, including community mental health or working with mental health presentations
- Supervision qualification and at least 5 years’ experience delivering clinical supervision
- Proven ability to design and deliver training for professional staff
- A collaborator who inspires confidence and drives continuous improvement and innovation
