We are seeking a
compassionate and motivated Psychologist to join our established
paediatric practice. This role suits a clinician who enjoys working
with children and families and has experience in behavioural and family
therapy, as well as formal psychological assessments.
The position will
commence part-time, with the opportunity to increase days as the service
grows. You will work in a supportive paediatric environment providing therapy
and assessment services to children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide psychological therapy and counselling for
children and adolescents
- Conduct psychological and psychometric
assessments
- Prepare written reports and provide feedback to
families
- Collaborate with paediatricians and allied health
professionals
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary approach to
care
Essential Requirements
- Current registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
- Experience working with children and families
- Skills in psychometric testing, including
educational and cognitive assessments
- Strong report-writing and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a
collaborative team
