Psychstuff4Kids is seeking an experienced clinical
psychologist who enjoys working with children and their families. The successful applicant will be required to work independently in planning and implementing psychological therapy and occasionally conduct psychometric assessments.
The position is salaried, meaning that you receive
superannuation, annual leave and personal leave entitlements in addition to
your wages. We also provide fortnightly individual supervision within your paid
hours and financial support for professional development.
PsychStuff4Kids is the child and family arm of ‘Basten and Associates, Clinical Psychologists’, where we provide a collegiate and supportive environment, with
built-in clinical supervision and a systematic peer support structure. The practice has
administrative support and a broad and interesting referral base.
Essential criteria:

Registered with AHPRA in NSW
·
Post-graduate clinical qualification (master’s or
doctoral degree)
·
Some experience working with school-aged children and
their families.
Desirable:
·
Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in family
therapy and a preference working with the whole family system
·
Demonstrated experience working with young people with
divergent neurotypes
·
Excellent written communication skills
·
Valuing an evidence-based approach to interventions
