About the roles:
These busy, new senior clinical roles are available at our Wolston and Brisbane Correctional Centres, Wacol. They are the perfect opportunity for an experienced mental health clinician to step into the next level role on their career journey. QCS recently expanded their psychology workforce and service model to include social workers and occupational therapists. Our multi-disciplinary teams provide services that help shape lives through evidence-based mental health care.
Providing high level clinical services, interventions and assessments, you will contribute to the development of support and management plans compliant with QCS protocols. Some cases will be complex and challenging which is where your professional expertise and judgement will be fully utilized.
Building partnerships and stakeholder relationships is integral to this role and will require your excellent interpersonal and engagement strengths.
As a mentor and role model within the team, you will provide professional supervision that facilitates the development of critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in Mental Health Clinicians, whilst taking the first step into a leadership role.

About you:
• Demonstrable expertise providing clinical services of a complex nature
• Able to provide clinical practice supervision to less experienced clinicians
• Use your high-calibre interpersonal and communication skills to build effective working relationships and negotiate outcomes with a variety of stakeholders
• Well-developed written communication skills with ability to produce excellent quality professional reports and case notes
• Ability to interpret and apply legislation, policies and procedures in both clinical and team support contexts
Mandatory Requirements:
• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology and membership with APHRA; or
• Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy or Social Work, with eligibility for membership or registration with AHPRA and/or AASW;
• C Class Driver's Licence; and
• Post-graduate qualifications in mental health would be highly regarded
