Psychologist
Heather Stephenson Psychology Group (HSP Group) is an established and well-regarded private practice located in the beach side suburb of Mandurah. Due to an increasing demand for our service from GPs, St John Ambulance, Psychiatrists and private referrals, we are seeking a passionate Psychologist.
 
You will have a love of people, expertise and passion to work with individuals who are experiencing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationships and general life stressors. You may be keen to undertake Neurodivergent assessments and reports.
 
What you’ll be doing:
  • Conducting comprehensive psychological therapy interventions and developing personalised treatment plans for clients.
  • Providing evidence-based support, such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy to help clients achieve their goals.
  • Maintaining detailed client records and ensuring compliance with professional and ethical standards.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for clients.
 
Selection Criteria:
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) of a Social Worker with a Grad Dip Mental Health
  • Strong clinical skills, including the ability to conduct comprehensive assessment and deliver evidence-based interventions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Full Australian working rights or be a permanent resident.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to client care.
