Solace Psychology is a warm and thoughtful private practice seeking a Psychologist/ Clinical Psychologist/ Mental Health Social Worker to join our growing team in our Kew East locations.

This role is ideal for a clinician wanting the autonomy of private practice, combined with the support of an experienced and collaborative practice environment.

The Role

You will provide psychological assessment and therapy to adults and/or adolescents presenting with a range of mental health concerns.

Common presentations include:

• Anxiety and mood disorders

• Trauma and complex trauma

• Relationship and interpersonal difficulties

• Life transitions and identity concerns

• Neurodivergence support

• Eating disorders and Body image difficulties

We welcome clinicians using a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy, EMDR, DBT-informed therapies, and integrative approaches. Gottman Therapy training and couples counselling experience a bonus!

You will have flexibility to shape your caseload around your interests and strengths.

The Practical Details

• Contractor role for 3days+

• Flexible days and hours

• Can work across Kew East and Telehealth

• Competitive contractor percentage

• Strong referral base with potential to build a full caseload

About You

You are a thoughtful and engaged clinician who values both clinical autonomy and professional connection.

You will have:

• AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Registrar, Clinical Psychologist or MHSW

• Australian citizenship is required for this position

• Eligibility for Medicare provider status

• Professional indemnity insurance and ABN

• A commitment to ethical, reflective and evidence-based practice

• Gottam Training and couples counselling experience a bonus!

A minimum of 2+ years of experience is preferred for this role.
