Forensic Psychologists Pty Ltd has continued to
expand since its establishment in 2012. We are a remotely based team that
provide both assessment and treatment to diverse forensic populations. This
means working the days and hours you choose, with the client population group/s
you feel competent with, all from your home office, anywhere around Australia!
We are currently looking for enthusiastic psychologists to join our growing
team, on a contractual arrangement, to undertake forensic/medico-legal
assessments (and treatment work if you would like). Opportunities for employment positions will also be considered.
Essential Criteria:
- Relevant
insurances (indemnity and public liability)
- Relevant
checks (WWCC and Criminal History)
- Medicare
Provider Number (if wishing to provide treatment)
- A VIN
number for CSNSW gaol bookings (or a willingness to apply)
- Knowledge
and understanding of relevant legislative, ethical and practice
requirements
- Demonstrated
experience in preparing a range of court reports (including competency in
administrating, scoring and interpreting a range of psychometrics;
assessment of risk; case formulation and development of accompanying
treatment plans)
- Demonstrated
understanding of presenting issues for complex cases
- Demonstrated
capacity to show initiative, work autonomously and within interagency
contexts (through MOUs)
- Remarkable
time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional
written report writing skills
