We are opening a dedicated, independently owned psychology clinic in Berwick — a purpose-built 3-room practice in the City of Casey, one of Melbourne's most underserviced mental health corridors. We are looking for three psychologists to join us from the ground floor.

 

About the clinic:

We are a small, practitioner-first clinic — not a corporate group.. We have built this practice around fair pay, full clinical autonomy, and zero administrative burden on our practitioners.

Berwick sits within the Casey LGA — a rapidly growing community where psychology waitlists regularly run 6–10 weeks and demand for quality mental health care far outpaces supply. You will not be waiting for patients here.

We are completing our company structure now and plan to open starting next month. We are accepting expressions of interest ahead of formal contracts so we can build the right team together.

The three roles: 

 

Clinical psychologist — 1 position

60 / 40 split

AHPRA registered · Endorsed clinical psychologist · 5+ years experience

Our anchor role. You bring endorsed clinical expertise and ideally existing referral relationships. We bring the infrastructure, the admin, and a strong patient pipeline. Full clinical autonomy — your modality, your structure, your call. No KPIs.

Higher Medicare rebate ($137/session) means stronger billings for you from day one.

Registered psychologist — 1 position

55 / 45 split

AHPRA registered · General registration · 2+ years experience preferred

A well-supported role with genuine autonomy. Ideal for a psychologist ready to step properly into private practice with solid infrastructure behind them.

Registered psychologist — 1 position

50 / 50 split

AHPRA registered · General registration · All experience levels considered

A genuine opportunity to build your private practice caseload in a high-demand corridor with full admin support and a warm team around you. We are open to practitioners at different stages — what matters most is that you are motivated, warm with clients, and committed to good clinical outcomes.

Contractor arrangement — full clinical independence, you set your own approach

All administration handled: Medicare, HICAPS, scheduling, intake, reminders

Professional, fully equipped consulting room — soundproofed and private

GP referral pipeline being established across the Casey corridor

Flexible days and hours — no minimum session requirements

About the location

The Casey LGA is one of the fastest-growing regions in Victoria and one of the most underserved for psychology services. There is significant unmet demand across anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and family presentations. The community is young, diverse, and working-family oriented — psychologists with experience working with CALD communities are particularly encouraged to apply.
