As our Clinician – Practice Lead Behaviour Support at our newly re-opened facility at Malmsbury, you will:
• develop and lead a multi-disciplinary team delivering psychosocial programs and behaviour support
• oversee individualised intervention plans that respond to young people’s needs
• provide high-quality supervision, coaching and professional development for staff
• support unit staff to build confidence using positive behaviour strategies
• give expert advice on complex behaviour management and rehabilitation matters.
About you
You could come from a variety of professional clinical backgrounds, what matters is how you can work with young people and other clinicians.
A qualification in psychology, social work, youth work or a related field is required. You must also hold a current Employee Working with Children Check.
You should also have:
• experience leading teams supporting complex client groups
• strong skills in practice supervision and staff development
• knowledge of trauma, offending behaviour, substance use and mental health issues
• the ability to stay calm and make decisions under pressure.
