Psychologist Placement Supervisor (Board-Approved Supervisor)

This role involved supervising provisional psychologists on placement from 9.30am - 5.30pm Mondays - Fridays.
ISN Clinic has opened a new clinic in Parramatta and is hiring supervisors to work onsite proving adhoc supervision. The clinic is staffed by Provisional Psycholologist students who provide free and low-cost psychology treatment and assessment to the community.

About ISN Clinic
Students enrolled at ISN Psychology complete practicum and placements within this network, supported by placement coordinators and onsite placement supervisors. This role works closely with both the ISN Psychology academic team and ISN Clinic to ensure high-quality work-integrated learning experiences.
About the Role
As a Psychologist Placement Supervisor, you will support Masters-level psychology students through a combination of responsibilities. The mix of responsibilities is flexible and can be tailored to your experience, interests, and availability, with duties varying across semesters.
Key Responsibilities
Duty Supervision
- Provide day-to-day supervision for postgraduate psychology students in our ISN Clinics.
- Support delivery of evidence-based psychological services.
- Provide education and supervisoin adhoc throughout the day on how to conduct assessments, engage in treatment intervention, manage client issues, process issues etc.
- Provide a group supervsion session each day.
- Students will have their own individual supervisor who they will meet with weekly.
- Guide clinical decision-making, risk management, and treatment planning.
- Ensure ethical and professional standards are consistently upheld.
Assessments
- Students will be conducting cogntive, learning and ADHD assessments as part of their placements - experience in supervising test administration and report writing is desired.
- Experience in the WISC, WAIS, WIAT and DIVA desired.

- Maintain high-quality supervision records and documentation
- Support student use of clinic, placement, and learning systems

About You
Essential
- Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
- Psychology Board-approved supervisor status.
- Desirable: An area of practice endorsement.
- Desirable: Experience in administering tests and writing assessment reports.
- Experience supervising postgraduate psychology students.
- Strong understanding of competency-based training and supervision.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

- Current AHPRA registration and BAS approval
- National Police Check
- Working with Children Check
- Commitment to privacy, ethical practice, record keeping and professional standards
