SACS is an organisational psychology consulting firm. We
undertake primary research particularly related to psychometric studies such as
cognitive ability, personality, work values, engagement, psychosocial risk and
attitudes towards diversity.
SACS has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals
and we seek to accelerate our primary research program. We have a number of
research findings which are well suited to academic publication, and to
facilitate this we seek to expand the number of people able to contribute to
their publication.
The key capability we seek is academic writing. Interacting
with researchers at SACS you will take findings and write them into first
drafts of research papers for ultimate submission to peer-reviewed journals.
You are qualified in psychology, probably to PhD level. You have written papers
for peer reviewed journals and have a grasp of psychological measurement
concepts. You understand statistical techniques such as exploratory and
confirmatory factor analysis, as well as linear models such as multiple regression.
The workload for this role will be variable so it will suit
somebody who has time to dedicate up to 20 hours a week in addition to other
jobs or perhaps a student workload.
SACS is a happy, harmonious workplace with cutting-edge
measurement tools and an extremely loyal and committed client base. Here is
your opportunity to help us accelerate our contribution to science.
