About Bluerydge

Bluerydge is an Australian-owned consultancy partnering with Defence and Commonwealth Government organisations to deliver workforce, security and advisory services.

We are seeking applications from AHPRA-registered Psychologists interested in contributing to psychological assessment services supporting personnel security and trusted workforce programs.

This is an opportunity to apply your professional assessment, interviewing and report writing skills within structured government environments supporting national security outcomes.

About the Role

Depending on the engagement, responsibilities may include:

  • Conduct structured psychological interviews
  • Review referral, background and assessment information
  • Assess behavioural, psychological and suitability factors relevant to personnel security
  • Prepare evidence-based psychological assessment reports
  • Apply sound professional judgement in complex assessment situations
  • Participate in quality assurance and peer review processes
  • Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records
  • Work within Commonwealth security, ethical and legislative requirements

About You

To be considered, you will ideally have:

  • Current general registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Excellent interviewing and psychological assessment skills
  • Strong written communication and report writing ability
  • Sound professional judgement and attention to detail
  • High ethical standards and professionalism
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information

Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:

  • Clinical psychology
  • Forensic psychology
  • Organisational psychology
  • Behavioural assessment
  • Occupational or suitability assessments
  • Psychological report writing
  • Defence or Commonwealth Government environments
  • Law enforcement or intelligence settings

An existing Australian Government Security Clearance (Baseline, NV1, NV2 or TSPV) is desirable but not essential. Applicants who are eligible to obtain a clearance are encouraged to apply.
