About the role
Following the development of a Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) specific service delivery framework for Corrective Services, the Clinical/Counselling/Forensic Psychologists in the CVE space are responsible for the provision of specialised clinical intervention and psychological assessment services and for case management of young people and adult offenders in custody and the community, with a specific focus on addressing CVE related treatment needs identified through the forensic assessment process.

- WWC positions – In accordance with the National Child Safety Principles, people who work directly with children and young people, you must have a current Working with Children Check or be able to successfully apply for one to be eligible for appointment to this position.
- All applicants are required to have a valid C Class Drivers Licence and may be required to travel within Western Australia for operational purposes.
Qualifications
- Applicants are required to have an accredited Masters, Doctorate or equivalent degree in Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychology. They are also required to hold general registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and endorsement in Clinical, Forensic or Counselling Psychology.
