About the Role 
  • Subacute Rehabilitation and Older Adult Mental Health  
  • Parental Leave Temporary Cover, 0.4EFT from 17/08/26 – 15/08/27 
If you are a psychologist who enjoys working with multi-disciplinary teams, this is a position able to offer you rich professional rewards. The neuropsychologist carries a clinical caseload and provides neuropsychology consultation and services to the 8 inpatient wards at the Kingston Centre. This includes general medical, neuro-rehabilitation, movement disorders, GEM, and older adult mental health wards. We are committed to providing best practice neuropsychology assessments and brief interventions for our patients and guidance for our multi-disciplinary team, families and others involved in our patient’s lives.  

About You 
To perform this role successfully, the following capabilities are required:  
  • Hold or working toward endorsement in Clinical Neuropsychology   
  • Knowledge and skills in providing evidence-based neuropsychological assessments, reports, formulation, brief intervention and evaluation of outcomes with individuals/groups   
  • Experience working in acute or subacute medical settings   
  • Knowledge and/or experience working with older adults with complex medical/neurological, psychiatric and comorbid behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia  
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills  
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams   
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain effective clinical documentation, records and data  
  • Team player
