About the Role 

Bluff Road Psychology is seeking a warm, skilled, and passionate Child & Adolescent Psychologist to join our supportive and collaborative team. 

In this contractor role, you’ll provide evidence-based interventions for children and adolescents, with the option to conduct psychological assessments if this aligns with your skills and interests. You will work closely with families, schools, and health professionals to promote positive wellbeing and development, while enjoying the autonomy to shape your own schedule. 

Key Responsibilities 

Deliver developmentally appropriate therapeutic interventions (e.g. CBT, play therapy, family therapy, and other evidence-based approaches). 

Option to conduct psychological assessments (not essential). 

Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to support children’s wellbeing and growth. 

Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. 

Maintain accurate, ethical, and timely client records in line with professional standards. 

Engage in ongoing professional development and peer consultation. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA. 

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, and families. 

Demonstrated expertise in delivering evidence-based interventions. 

Experience with assessments is valued but not essential. 

Medicare Provider Number (or eligibility), ABN, Professional Indemnity & Public Liability Insurance, and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain). 

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively. 

A commitment to clinical excellence, ongoing professional growth, and making a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.
