Are you a compassionate Psychologist who wants to make a lasting difference in the lives of vulnerable young people? Are you experienced in supporting youth facing homelessness, trauma, or complex mental health challenges? Join a supportive multidisciplinary team dedicated to empowering young people

This position provides psychology services in an integrated model of care, psychological evidence-based assessments and interventions to highly complex, disadvantaged and vulnerable young people within a safe and youth-friendly context.  

You’ll be a great candidate for this role if you:  

  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Psychology and full AHPRA registration, with a strong commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development. 
  • Have experience in supporting young people with complex mental health needs, including those at risk of or experiencing homelessness, using trauma-informed and recovery-oriented approaches. 
  • Are skilled in delivering individual and group psychological interventions to youth with diverse and complex presentations, demonstrating high-level clinical knowledge and expertise. 
  • Have proven ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and provide clear, high-level clinical advice to peers, managers, and external stakeholders. 
  • Can demonstrate advanced capabilities in psychological assessments, treatment planning, and interventions, with strong consultation skills across health and community sectors. 
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and advocacy skills, with strong documentation practices and ability to manage competing priorities independently.  

Given the work that we do there will be a few non-negotiables. You’ll need to be able to have, or obtain prior to commencement: 

  • A National Coordinated Criminal History Check [Police Check]. 
  • Evidence of vaccination, immunity, or medical exemption for the following preventable diseases - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella [Chicken Pox], Hepatitis B, and Pertussis [Whooping Cough]. ??
