Child and Adolescent Psychologist - Early Career Psychs Encouraged to Apply

Village Psychology is on the look-out for an enthusiastic psychologist interested in working with neurotypical and neurodivergent children and adolescents.

Therapists will have the opportunity to support young people with:

·       navigating neurodivergence

·       generalised anxiety

·       social anxiety

·       specific phobias

·       OCD

·       mood dysregulation

·       social skills challenges

and much more.

We are a small private clinic in Castle Hill, North-West Sydney. At Village Psychology, we strive to create a warm, inclusive space for our young clients where families feel supported and understood. We work collaboratively with families, schools, and a range of service providers to support our clients’ therapeutic intervention.

What we provide:

·       Work/life balance: The successful applicant will have the freedom to specify the number of hours and times of day they would like to work at the clinic. We strongly believe in flexibility in work, maintaining healthy caseloads, and taking regular breaks to avoid burnout.

·       Supervision: Regular one-on-one supervision is included with the position. This is provided by your Clinic Director and experienced child and adolescent psychologist who has been working with young people for nearly two decades.

·       Professional development: Regular professional development opportunities are provided and completed with your colleagues to enhance your skills and maintain a connection with your clinic team.

What we're looking for:

·       Current registration as a psychologist with AHPRA - recent graduates and early career psychologists are encouraged to apply.

·       Experience working with young people in any capacity, especially neurodivergent individuals, is preferred but not required.

·       Warmth, compassion, and a willingness to have fun with your young clients.

·       Reliability, professionalism, and integrity in your clinic work.

How to apply:

If you’re interested in joining a closeknit team with a down-to-earth work culture and plenty of professional support, we’d love to hear from you. Please send your resumé and a brief cover letter outlining your interest in working at Village Psychology to [email protected] or visit www.villagepsych.com.au to learn more about us.
