Psychology
Camberwell is a prominent specialist private psychology practice, delivering a high-quality
psycho-legal evaluations, primarily in family law. Our practice undertakes 750
family law evaluations each year, and several hundred children’s court,
criminal, educational, and civil assessments yearly. Our practice has been relied
on over the last 25 years by legal practitioners and the family court to
provide high quality advice via report and court evidence on the needs of
children and parents in custody disputes.
Our Director, Dr
Simon Kennedy, has been a Clinical & Forensic Psychologist in Melbourne for
more than 40 years. We have a small team
of highly experienced clinical psychologists with many years of specialist experience.
Our training, supervision and weekly case consultation conferences support the
quality of the assessments and decision making in the court matters, with
reliance on gold standard evaluation approaches.
We provide formal
and informal training in family law evaluations, court evidence, and report
writing, and in other domains, and ongoing PD, support and supervision. Well
established assessment and report writing skills, & high ethical standards
are essential.
An opportunity
exists to contribute to our team with flexible working arrangements. We are seeking a passionate and motivated
psychologist to join the team to work alongside our dynamic clinical team and super-efficient
administrative support team.

We are currently
seeking a clinical psychologist on a full-time basis (assessments and case
conference and training in the office, reports possible from home possible and
in the clinic) to join our wonderful private practice as an independent contractor,
located in Camberwell. We have the
ability of taking on 2 half/part time people.

Prior family law and or psycho-legal
experience may be an advantage but not required.

Applications
·
Psychologists with Masters or Doctoral
Level training are encouraged to apply
·
Clinicians with Clinical and/or Forensic
qualifications
·
Commitment to timely, high quality,
ethical psychological assessments
·
Sound administrative skills, time
management and clinical skills
·
Ability to commit to offering services
on a regular basis
·
Experienced in working with a range of
psychological conditions and clientele
·
Able to work independently and
autonomously, but also cooperatively
·
An interest in psycho-legal processes
·
Experience in use of psychometric
instruments in assessment
·
Eligible to obtain an ABN/ACN and
Professional Indemnity Insurance
·
Registration/membership with AHPRA and
APS
·
Previous experience in the area is
desirable, experience in and aptitude for report writing is essential
·
Melbourne and outer metro/regional
clinicians interested may wish to apply
