About the Team: 

The College operates mainly within the Footscray Park Campus. The Master of Psychology programs are supported by a dedicated training Clinic VU Psychology Clinic at MetroWest in Nicholson Street, Footscray 

About the Role: 

You will be a registered psychologist with considerable practice experience and preferably endorsed in an area of psychology such as clinical, health, or counselling psychology. You will be an AHPRA registered Psychology Supervisor and will have leadership capability and experience, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively as a member of an interdisciplinary team. You will be actively engaged in promoting the services of the clinic to the local community and passionate about the training of future psychologists.                               

Position Key Duties 

An example of duties you may perform will include:

• Managing the day-to-day clinic operations, planning, strategy and evaluation of the student clinic environment
• Organising and assessing suitability of clinic intake referrals for individual and group programs 
• Arranging and overseeing the clinical supervision of students and undertaking supervision of students within the clinic as required
• Liaising with external organisations to address incoming inquiries and promote clinic services 
• Conducting group supervision with provisional psychologists

Salary:  HEP8 classification $113,953 - $128,326 per annum (pro rata) +17% superannuation
Employment Type:  Part-time continuing
Hours:  14.7 (0.4 FTE) hours per week, Tuesday and Wednesday
Location: The position is located at MetroWest Footscray (face-to-face role)
