About Love & Light Healing Clinic

Love & Light Healing Clinic is a progressive, client-centred psychology and wellbeing clinic based on the Sunshine Coast. We are known for combining evidence-based psychological care with innovative treatment modalities in a calm, supportive, and healing environment.

As demand continues to grow, we are seeking a psychologist/social worker with a strong interest and experience in Virtual Reality (VR) therapy, integrated with behavioural approaches, to support clients experiencing anxiety, phobias, and other relevant presentations.

The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of technology-enabled therapy and evidence-based psychological practice. You will deliver VR-assisted interventions alongside behavioural and cognitive-behavioural techniques to support clients with anxiety, phobias, stress, and related conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver psychological assessment and treatment for clients presenting with anxiety-related concerns
• Utilise Virtual Reality therapy as part of exposure-based and behavioural treatment plans
• Integrate behavioural therapy approaches (CBT-informed, exposure, skills-based interventions) into individualised care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and treatment plans in line with ethical and professional standards
• Participate in clinical supervision, case discussions, and ongoing professional development
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary and holistic practice environment

About You

You will be a compassionate, curious, and motivated psychologist who is excited by innovation in mental health care.

Essential requirements:

• Either Social Worker (AASW) or full/provisional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA
• Experience or strong interest in treating anxiety-based presentations
• Experience working with Virtual Reality therapy
• Strong grounding in behavioural or CBT-informed therapeutic approaches
• Excellent communication skills and a client-centred approach

Desirable:

• Previous experience with exposure-based therapies
• Interest in emerging technologies and innovative treatment models
