Life & Mind Psychology is seeking a skilled and passionate Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with experience and interest in relationship therapy to join our established and highly regarded practice.
This is an exciting opportunity for a clinician who is committed to helping couples strengthen their relationships, improve communication, navigate conflict, rebuild trust, and create meaningful and lasting change.
We are offering flexibility in both workload and engagement model, with opportunities available for 3-5 days per week as either an employee or under a contractor service agreement, depending on your preference and circumstances.
About the Role
As a Couples Therapist, you will provide evidence-based psychological interventions to couples experiencing a range of relationship concerns, including:
- Communication difficulties
- Relationship conflict and recurring patterns
- Infidelity and trust repair
- Parenting and family stressors
- Emotional disconnection and intimacy concerns
- Life transitions and separation-related challenges
You will have the opportunity to build a rewarding caseload focused on couples therapy while working within a collaborative and supportive team environment.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- General or Clinical Registration with AHPRA as a Psychologist
- Experience providing couples therapy and relationship counselling
- Training in evidence-based couples therapy approaches such as Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Developmental Model, Relational Life Therapy, or similar
- Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills
- A commitment to evidence-based, ethical, and client-centred care
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Desirable
- Clinical Psychology endorsement
- Advanced training or certification in couples therapy modalities
- Experience working with complex relationship presentations and high-conflict couples
- Experience delivering both face-to-face and telehealth services
