We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Psychologist/Psychologist with a strong interest and expertise in eating disorders to join our established private practice in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs, Eastern Suburbs Psychology

About the Role
The successful applicant will provide psychological assessment and treatment for clients experiencing (and other mental health presentations)
- Anorexia nervosa
- Bulimia nervosa
- Binge eating disorder
- ARFID and other specified feeding and eating disorders
- Body image concerns
- Anxiety, depression, perfectionism, and related presentations
- OCD
You will have the opportunity to work independently while being supported by a multidisciplinary referral network including psychiatrists, dietitians, GPs, paediatricians, and other allied health professionals.
Essential Criteria
- Endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia would be highly valued
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Minimum 5 years' post-registration clinical experience
- Demonstrated experience in the assessment and treatment of eating disorders
- Training and experience in evidence-based approaches such as CBT-E, Family-Based Treatment (FBT), ACT, DBT, or Schema Therapy
- Strong risk assessment and case management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Desirable Criteria
- Credentialed Eating Disorder Clinician status or eligibility
- Established referral relationships within the local health community
