ABOUT THE ROLE 
  • Provide evidence-based psychological assessment, formulation and intervention for clients with moderate to severe mental health presentations.
  • Support clients experiencing complex and intersecting issues, including minority stress, trauma, suicidality, disability, neurodivergence, substance use, ageing, and domestic and family violence.
  • Develop treatment plans, safety plans and referral pathways that support clients to achieve meaningful wellbeing goals.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and external stakeholders to provide coordinated, holistic care for the communities Meridian serves.

 
ABOUT YOU
  • You hold tertiary qualifications in Psychology and unrestricted general registration with AHPRA.
  • You have at least 2 years’ clinical experience in psychological therapy and assessment, including managing a caseload and working with complex presentations.
  • You bring a strong commitment to inclusive, strengths-based, trauma-informed and gender-affirming practice.
  • You communicate with warmth, professionalism and cultural humility, and work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience with therapeutic group facilitation, neurodiversity-affirming practice, EMDR, Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, or providing gender affirming medical care support letters will be highly regarded.
