Head of Clinical Psychology
- Part-Time, Ongoing Role - 60.8 hours
per fortnight.
- Up to $167,684.40 (TT16) base salary per annum - (pro-rata for part time).
- Parkville location, with multiple

The Role
The Head of Psychology position
includes leading a team of Psychologists, Psychology Interns and registrars.
The Peter Mac psychology team provide psychology services to patients and their
families, including both inpatients and outpatients as well as primary and
secondary consultation.
The head of psychology will review
and monitor the quality of the psychology service, provide leadership and
mentoring to members of the team, provide direct clinical care and have input
into research and teaching. This is a Grade 5 Clinical Psychology, .8 EFT
permanent role. The role reports to the Director of Psychosocial Oncology.
Essential requirements include:
- Registration with the Psychology
Board of Australia
- A minimum of ten years’ experience
as a practising psychologist
- PBA-approved
supervisor Experience in providing psychological services to people
and their families in oncology/health care/mental health setting
- Demonstrable relevant experience
in research and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels
- Expert communication,
interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to work in a
multidisciplinary environment
- Endorsement in ‘clinical
psychology’ area of practice
