Advanced Psychologist - Clinical Leader, Therapeutic Interventions

Location: Townsville, QLD 

 

Permanent Full-time | 76 hours per fortnight

Remuneration package up to $172,615 p.a. + additional incentives and benefits

Are you an experienced psychologist with advanced therapeutic expertise and a passion for clinical leadership? Join Townsville HHS as our Clinical Leader – Therapeutic Interventions and play a pivotal role in shaping therapeutic practice, developing workforce capability, and delivering high-impact interventions for adults accessing community mental health services. 

 

About the Role 

In this senior position, you will provide advanced psychotherapeutic interventions, lead capability development across multidisciplinary teams, and guide the integration of evidence-based therapies across the Adult Community Care Team. You will work with a high level of autonomy, offering expert clinical advice, supporting complex casework and contributing to research, training and service innovation. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Deliver advanced, culturally responsive, evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions for adults with complex mental health needs 
  • Lead the integration of therapeutic models across community mental health services 
  • Provide education, supervision, and training to clinicians and students 
  • Contribute to research, quality improvement and service development initiatives 
  • Provide expert clinical advice to senior leaders and stakeholders
