Sydney Neuropsych is a
neuropsychology clinic on Sydney's North Shore. This
is a genuine opportunity to embed yourself early in a growing clinic; working
alongside experienced neuropsychologists and building a meaningful practice
within an environment that cares about its people and its clients, from
assessment to ongoing care.
The position is for a
neuropsychologist to complete neuropsychological assessments across a range of
different groups (children, adults and older adults), dementia,
neurodevelopmental and neurodiversity assessments.
The role is open to fully endorsed
Clinical Neuropsychologists or Neuropsychology Registrars looking to complete
supervised hours in a well established neuropsychology practice.
Experience will be highly regarded,
but there are significant opportunities for supervision, professional
development and training for the right candidate. We are looking for long-term
clinicians who can see themselves working in a consistent and stable practice
and growing into a senior clinician within the team for years to come.
For Registrars applying, we have
structured the role to give you a genuine learning arc; from supervised
in-session observation through to independently completing the assessment
component of full neuropsychological evaluations, with a significant breadth of
testing and experience.
•
Exposure to a diverse and
genuinely interesting caseload: ADHD, Autism, acquired brain injury, SLD,
neurological conditions like Dementia, capacity assessments and comprehensive
cognitive assessments
•
(For Registrars applying) A Structured
progression: beginning with in-session supervised observation, advancing to
independently completing the assessment component (excluding intake and
feedback) under supervision
•
Hands-on experience with Private,
NDIS, and Medicare & DVA clients
•
Collaboration with a senior
neuropsychologist on complex, multi-domain cases
•
Report writing mentorship and
clinical documentation to high professional standards
•
Significant supervision and
training opportunities and PD, including potential supervised formal hours for
AHPRA clinical neuropsychology registrar for the right candidate
•
Direct access to and collaboration
with our senior neuropsychologist, with access to highly experienced
neuropsychologists in neurodiversity (cited in the DSM-5 for ADHD and a
recommended referrer for Professor Tony Attwood for autism). Potential for supervision
depending on the candidate’s experience. Plenty of group PD and a yearly budget
for further training.
•
A structured, progressive learning
pathway with real clinical responsibility at each stage
•
A genuinely varied and
intellectually engaging caseload; far beyond a standard training context
•
Modern, well-appointed consulting
rooms in Naremburn, a short walk from St Leonards train station and Crows Nest
Metro, with potential parking onsite
•
Access
to modern clinical tools, including Heidi (AI-powered clinical documentation),
to support efficient, high-quality care for our clients, so more of your day
goes to clients, not paperwork.
•
Pathway to a longer-term clinical
role within the practice for the right candidate
